Continental Hydraulics LPV pumps are variable displacement, pressure compensated axial piston pumps.
They provide reliable, fast and quiet control and automatically adjust the output flow rate to maintain the set pressure.The maximum output flow can be limited via a maximum volume adjustment screw. All of the control compensator options are interchangeable on all pump sizes.
The series is available in five nominal displacements: LPV-4 (8 cc/rev) | LPV-8 (16.5 cc/rev) | LPV-11 (22 cc/rev) | LPV-17 (36 cc/rev) | LPV-22 (46 cc/rev)
Across the range, operating pressure is 210 bar (3500 psi), flow at 1800 rpm ranges from 14.4 litres/minute to 82.8 litres/minute. Operating speeds are from 500 rpm minimum to 2000 rpm, maximum.
The LPV series of pumps, are variable displacement axial piston pumps with variable swash block, suitable for applications with open loop circuits and intermediate pressures. All of the Control Compensator options are interchangeable on all pump sizes. This very flexible Control Compensator design allows the LPV pump to be quickly changed as your circuit requirement demand.

PRESSURE COMPENSATED CONTROL (Standard) By controlling the system pressure, the standard pressure compensated control changes pump displacement to match the system’s flow requirement. Simply stated: a pressure compensated pump will provide variable flow at a constant pressure setting. Pump displacement is mechanically controlled by the angle of the swash plate. The swash plate angle is controlled by the extension of the compensator plunger working against the swash plate bias spring. The compensator senses downstream pressure and adjusts displacement to maintain the set pressure. The control would be used on systems requiring variable flow but unchanging pressure.

Continental Hydraulics HPVR inline axial piston pumps have medium-high working pressure capabilities making them suitable for a wide variety of applications.
The series is available in 5 nominal displacements and 3 compact frame sizes: HPVR-6 (14.4 cc/rev) | HPVR-10 (20.6 cc/rev) | HPVR-15 (34.3 cc/rev) | HPVR-20 (42.9 cc/rev) | HPVR-29 (61.9 cc/rev)
Across the range, these pumps are pressure compensated from 13.8 to 276 bar (200 to 4000 psi) for continuous duty, and up to 310 bar (4500 psi) intermittently.
